"Reges" adheres to the rules of Nameless MUCK and requests that its players do the same:
The rules are very basic, and all are expected to follow them.
0) This system is a privilege, not a right!
1) The decisions of the wizstaff are final.
2) Lying is unacceptible (we log all, we check complaints, we don't like lies).
3) Attacks on players are unacceptible, as is harassment.
4) Profanity, religious or ethnic slurs, lewdness, are not allowed in public places. If someone requests you watch your language, and you aren't the place owner, its a PUBLIC PLACE. Show discretion.
5) The owner of a place is the arbiter of the place. Owners can remove people for cause or no cause, at any time.
6) Assume that someone you talk to is under 18 years old unless you learn otherwise, and act accordingly--this goes with #4 above.
7) MUF and MPI are powerful, and can be abused. Abuse is defined as using them to gain information or perform actions to or on another players objects that they can't prevent by standard techniques such as @lock. Abuse is subject to evaluation and a Wizard will decide. If its decided its abusive, it should be stopped. If not stopped, the player is subject to removal.
8) Anyone granted extra permissions (such as MUCKER bits, W flags, staff authority) who abuses these permissions will be removed from this system. Let this be clear: with power comes responsiblity, and a higher standard of judgement.
9) All players agree to abide by the 'news legal' file and those players who are under age are playing with the understanding that their parents agree to it.
